Description
The Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, (Cacatua galerita), is a relatively large white cockatoo found in wooded habitats in Australia and New Guinea. They can be locally very numerous, leading to them sometimes being considered pests.
I do not mind their noise, and they certainly make an interesting subject to photograph, especially up close.
This is a wild Cockatoo, not a pet.

Thank you very much, Mathilde for your kind comment and interest. This bird is actually a Cockatoo, which is much larger than a Cockatiel, but of the same family I believe. Both the Cockatoo and Cockatiel have great personalities and can be trained.
