Description
Photograph taken from the Sydney city side of the harbor overlooking the fireworks and beautifully illuminated Darling Harbour just as one of the hourly Vivid Aquatique shows commenced. The Novotel is beautifully illuminated in green at the back and on the left of the fireworks some of the golden water fountains of the Vivid Aquatique Show can be seen.

Vivid Aquatique
VIVID Sydney Festival 2014
The Vivid Aquatique Water Theatre at Darling Harbour is back, only twice the size, and even more spectacular.
French company, Aquatique Show International, is considered to be the unrivalled expert in water shows and aquatic effects, having produced acclaimed multimedia marine spectacles in six continents.
Vivid Aquatique features computer controlled dancing water jets in a ‘magic wall’ of light and water, specialised sculptural fountains inspired by Louis XIV’s ‘Water Garden’ at Versailles, four giant water screens and large-format video projections, four high-powered full colour lasers and, for some shows, marine fireworks.
Darling Harbour is one of Vivid’s most colourful precincts, offering a range of entertainment and fun for the whole family.
There are plenty of great restaurants, bars and cafés at Cockle Bay and Harbourside as well as major attractions including SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, Madame Tussauds, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and IMAX theatre. For kids there is nothing better than the fun of Darling Harbour playground and Luminous at Darling Quarter.
