Description
We were leaving Zion National Park in Utah, driving along Zion Park Blvd., through the remarkable landscape that exists there. I have to say that the wind, rain, and ice have had a most delightful time in fashioning the sedimentary sandstone rock in the east of the park. In this image, the layers have tilted this way and that and with their very rounded edges they have taken on the appearance of a precariously assembled pile of pancakes. Among all of this, trees have found places to root and thrive. Oh, the majesty of nature.
